TOP4HoneyChains Smart Honey Value Chain International Corporation Project Launch Meeting

The launch meeting of the international corporation project called TOP4HoneyChains – Trustable and Sustainable Open Platform for Smart Honey Value Chains, which is supported by ERA-NET COFUND (ICT-AGRI-FOOD) and coordinated by associate professor Mehmet Nafiz Aydın is made in Thursday 19th October in Cibali Campus.
Along with Kadir Has University, Işık University Apiculture Research Center, Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Agropecuaria (Argentina), NEXCO S.A. (Argentina), Cooperativa Agrop. y Apicola Norte Grande Ltda. (Argentina), Alimentos Naturales Natural Foods S.A. (Argentina), University of Economics in Katowice (Poland), and Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (Latvia) are the partners of the project.
TOP4HoneyChains, is adopting a multi-actor approach study for designing a safe and sustainable Smart Honey Value Chain (SHC). The research project contains research innovation and excellence. Multinational (with trans-Atlantic partner Argentina) researchers and experts contribute to the project. Four pilot cases about the most common value honeybees and value chains were chosen for the research. Those cases are all food chains that include many stakeholders like beekeepers, beekeeper associations and cooperatives, wholesalers, packers, and consumer cooperatives.
