NEWS | Two Distinguished MIS Faculty Members at IMISC 2025

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Nafiz Aydın and Prof. Dr. Hasan Dağ will proudly represent our department at the 12th International Management Information Systems Conference (IMISC 2025), hosted by Ankara Medipol University from 23–25 October 2025. The conference—entitled to funding under TÜBİTAK’s 2223‑B program—focuses on “Health Informatics.”


Mehmet Nafiz Aydın – Track 7 Chair / Advisory Board Member

  • Role: Chair of Track 7: SOCIAL MEDIA ANALYTICS AND INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH & THEORY (SMART).
  • Scope: The track encourages interdisciplinary research on topics such as social media analytics, competitive intelligence, OSINT, sentiment analysis, intention mining, visual analytics, community detection, and more.
  • Committee Service: Member of the Organizing Committee as Kadir Has University’s TRAIS representative, and also serves on the Advisory Board.

Hasan Dağ – Advisory Board Member

  • Role: Member of the IMISC 2025 Advisory Board.
  • Contribution: Will help guide the conference’s academic direction, drawing on his expertise in health informatics and information systems.
