MIS Department faculty members, undergraduates, and graduate students work as coordinators, researchers, and scholars in many nationally (TÜBİTAK) and internationally supported (European Union) projects. Some of these projects are listed below:
- Asst. Prof. E. Fatih Yetkin and two PhD students (Merve Öper and Merve Ülkü) took part as the coordinator and scholars in the TÜBİTAK 2244 project in which Borcelik is a stakeholder.
- Asst. Prof. Mahmut Çavur was a researcher and PhD student Görkem Akdur was scholar in the TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled “Web-GIS Supported Site Management Conservation Model in the Context of Rural-Urban Continuity of Historical Cities: The Example of Iznik”.
- Assoc. Dr. Mehmet N. Aydın was a researcher and our graduate student Şüheda Yıldırım was a scholar in the TÜBİTAK 1001 project titled “Digital Public Diplomacy of Armed Organizations – Syria and Iraq Examples”.
